At the Sandy Point, Abaco Bahamas Fast Ferries docking location, a net loss of sand was observed to the northwest of the dock structure, which was beginning to undermine the facility, in addition to causing an unsightly appearance. IBD Reiss was retained by the client, Bahamas Fast Ferries, to conduct a study on the littoral drift patterns of Sandy Point, Abaco.
