The Bahamas Society of Engineers (BSE) is a multi-disciplinary learned society mandated to improve the state of engineering in the Bahamas and consequently promote the health, safety and welfare of its citizens.
Bahamas Chamber of Commerce

The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization which represents a wide cross-section of private sector businesses in The Bahamas. We currently have a membership base of more than 500 registered companies from various industries including tourism, which as The Bahamas’ main industry accounts for 75% of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Other industries that we proudly represent include banking and finance, retail, construction and light manufacturing.
Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association

The mission of the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association is to advance the science and practice of water supply, wastewater disposal and solid waste management, and promote the efficient management of utilities for the sustainable development of Caribbean people by:
- Facilitating research and development and the use of appropriate technologies;
- Identifying emerging needs and providing value-adding opportunities for our members;
- Promoting the professional development of our members by providing access to accredited education and certified training opportunities;
- Facilitating the sharing of members’ knowledge and experiences by providing an efficient support network;
- Building alliances and partnerships to strengthen the development of our members and member institutions;
- Advocating on critical issues affecting the water, wastewater and solid waste industries and our membership.
Caribbean Desalination Association

The Caribbean Desalination Association [CaribDA], is committed to the development and promotion of the appropriate use of desalination, desalination technology and water reuse in the Caribbean region in particular. We endeavor to achieve these goals by sharing desalination experiences, latest technological and regional advancements, knowledge, resources and best practices. We will focus the region on all new opportunities available to promote efficient and cost effective solutions for desalination and water reuse and to achieve highest reliability and water quality.

The Bahamas achieved independence from Britain July 10, 1973, and is now a fully self-governing member of the Commonwealth and a member of the United Nations, the Caribbean Community and the Organization of American States.
